Bringing a wealth of experience in community engagement, Kerry has played an instrumental role in expanding access to quality summer programming for children from diverse backgrounds. With her support, Horizons at the Mattahunt summer program has become a highly esteemed program within Boston Public Schools, offering a dynamic blend of academic enrichment, arts, sports, and life skills development. Kerry has held various positions in education, including Family Engagement Liaison, Special Projects Coordinator, Summer Program Coordinator, and Reading Interventionist.

She holds a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education and Care in Inclusive Settings from the University of Massachusetts Boston, where she honed her skills in classroom management, positive behavior intervention systems, and lesson planning that target strategies for differentiation that support students from diverse backgrounds.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Kerry is deeply engaged in her community, volunteering her time and expertise to serve on the School Site Council, and School Parent Council, organizing fundraisers and various initiatives aimed at improving educational opportunities for underserved youth.
