Tyler Nay is working to expand the Horizons Network of learning programs in the Greater Boston area.

After graduating from Ohio University with a degree in Outdoor Recreation and Education, Tyler started his professional career working in adventure education, leading expeditions for students with learning differences. Tyler led multi-day backpacking and rock climbing adventures while working with the students to learn important life and social skills. He then joined Thompson Island Outward Bound in Boston to design and deliver place-based STEM education experiences to Boston students.

Before joining Horizons Greater Boston, Tyler was the Director of Auxiliary Programs at Kingsley Montessori School. He created and expanded the robust suite of Auxiliary programming across the entire school. From enrichment classes to summer programming, the program offers students necessary out-of-school time learning experiences.

“The power of summer programming is extraordinary. I know how essential and unforgettable summer programming can be for young people, and I’m honored to work with Horizons Greater Boston to bring those memories to the students of Boston.”
